  • This is a website that provides comprehensive information on studying in Japan and other related matters to prospective students, foreign students in Japan and former foreign students. The site is available in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean with some pages also in Arabic, French, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese. (Launched in March 2001)
  • Approximately 3.8 million site visits per month
  • Commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

  • Shortwave radio programs are broadcast with the objective of resolving the issue of the abduction of Japanese citizens by North Korea
  • Programs are broadcast in Japanese for abducted Japanese citizens in North Korea and in Korean for the general North Korean public
  • Broadcast daily (new program broadcast every Monday with reruns broadcast for one week)
  • Broadcast launched in July 2007
  • Commissioned by the Headquarters for the Abduction Issue, Government of Japan
