About JCIC

What is JCIC?

The Japan Center for Intercultural Communications (JCIC) is a public-interest corporation affiliated with the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was established in 1953 with the aim of introducing various aspects of Japan - including its politics, economy, society and culture - overseas and enhancing understanding regarding Japan abroad, and at the same time, to inform the people of Japan of international situations.
